From the tender age of three, I've pretty much had my nose in a book, always begging my father to tell me just one more Anansi story. From there I devoured every Sweet Valley Twins book and Nancy Drew I could get my hands on. And at 13 I read my first Harlequin Superromance and fell in love with the genre. What's not to love about a love story? I've been devouring them ever since.
When I moved to Ghana and I couldn't get my hands on my favorite authors, I started creating my own. Good thing too, because when you have an overactive imagination and your characters talk to you, you don't have many options. It's either write or the loony bin.
I met my husband on the first day of freshman year. Fourteen years later, we're still in love and I'm still driving the poor man crazy. We live in Sunny San Diego with our Scottish Terrier puppy, Onyx, who loves to chew on my discarded manuscripts.
I spend my days bossing engineers around and my nights having my characters boss me around!
